tuning the AEM Tru Boost....

ok so today i installed my AEM tru-boost gauge type controller. i have familiarized myself with how the gauge works and i can make changes easily now.. but getting the tuning right takes a whole lot more... ok so i have mods but have not been tuned yet.. so im trying to set up my tru-boost to spike like 19 or so and hold like high 17's to 18 psi.. the closest i have come is spike 19.3 and hold 15.9 that was with my duty cycle at 40 and my spring pressure set to 11.5.. what do you have your truboost set to for stock boost level??? Thanks in advance

were in florida do you live?
i live in Delray Beach , and i could try to help you (if you live close) , i could log your run with EVOSCAN and see what your load it's actualy doing.
But i have no experience with TRU BOOST because i use the greddy profec spec 2.

That was the main reason I sold mine. It took to long to get it set up properly. When I had it, I believe I was closing in on 50, but I was trying to get my boost up to 25 lbs or so. I run meth.

There's a good series of videos on YouTube by AEM that explains how to setup the Tru Boost. Search on YouTube for "AEM Tru Boost" and the username is AEMPowerTV. There's a total of 4 videos in the series.

What exactly do you need help with? The higher the duty cycle the more the boost. The spring rate is going to change how much you spike. All I did was change the duty cycle and do a pull until I had it where I wanted it. You can change the settings as you drive.
