stock evo pistons...

Guys,

A friend of mine sent me pistons to use in rebuilding my block to stock. I just want to make sure it is really OEM Evo 7/8 piston. On the top of my Evo 5 piston is says 63TE6, on the piston he gave me, it says 63TE7. So I guess that's from an Evo 7?

The problem is, I couldn't find piston rings that would match the E7 ones. I tried fitting my old rings with the new pistons but the oil seal ring just wouldn't fit. I looked everywhere to find the oil seal ring but haven't been so successful. Are the piston rings different per evo? The oil seal ring measurement was around 2.00mm dead, as my old piston oil seal ring's measurement was like 2.8mm, more standard than what I can find.

Anyway, if you have a stock piston lying around there, please check for me what's written on top of it. I am really curious if I have the right piston. Because of the different ring gaps, now I have my doubts... Thanks.
