Help with codes P0456 and P0401
So my car threw 2 codes last night while at a light. P0456 which is a Evap leak detected and P0401 which is a EGR system fault ( too little flow). Do the two have a common denominator that would cause both codes to appear at the same time..? If not... how should i proceed with this?

Turn them off?
Set the ecu periphery to 8d89 instead of efdf. Then I would look for the likely cause. I just hate CEL so the first thing I do is turn them off then look for an issue. I believe the EGR CEL is/was so common there was actually a recall on the EGR at one point if I remember correctly.

P0456 - Check fuel cap; is it tightened all the way?
It's possible they are related...EGR and Evap systems both use Vacuum lines. Visually inspect all hoses to ensure no leak, or if you have access to a Smoke machine by all means run a test.
