Stock block with Gt35r and nitrous

I just purchased my Evo and am feeling the need for mods. The car was allready outfitted with a 35R but I am wanting something a bit faster. I have a Zex Direct Port kit brand new sitting here from my STI build that I ended up selling before installing. My new car has AEM EMS so I am thinking of getting a tune for C16 with Nitrous and 26-28psi as well as a DD tune on 93 pump and then possibly another tune for 93 with meth injection and nitrous. Now here is my question. Can you run a Direct Port Nitrous kit with a Meth injection kit? It seems like it would cause some kind of issue being that both would be spraying a fuel source at the same time and it would all mix up. Any help would be great, as I am a little lost when it comes to this area. Also, is a stock block able to with stand this kind of abuse? I am going to go ahead and get some new pistons/rings just incase for building this spring, but I am just wondering if a stock block can handle say 500-575whp? Thanks
-Jerry

I guess my biggest concern is the Meth and Direct Port together. Has anyone ever heard of running those together? I know the car is good for mid 11s as it sits, but I would love to hit a 10sec pass. I am just trying to figure out how to get it their, and the most reliable way. I dont mind skipping out on the nitrous kit, and going with just a meth kit. Then again, I dont mind going with C16 and both the nitrous and meth kit.....

Wow a 35R on race isn't enough?

I find it absolutely frightening

FYI a 35R on pump + meth should net you 10's pretty easily so maybe focus on getting your setup optimized so it can do that first?

Some negatives, but the more I read the more positive I see. From what I have read running a N20 with Meth/H20 is a very safe combo. I am trying to keep lag to a min and be able to get off the line a little faster. Now granted, I have never used a Meth kit, I am unaware how they truely work in a sense. As in, will I actualy gain more low end power, or will it just allow me to increase boost further causing more lag down low? I have used N20 on a few turbo cars and always loved it. Gave me the power down low, and allowed the big turbo to spool up so fast. Again, I am a NEWB to Evo's and Meth injection so forgive me.

When driving the car 35R lag is way over rated. Even on a 2.0.

I dont mind a laggy setup on the street. I just want faster at the track. I am used to 1.6 and 1.8l honda's with 35r's and MASSIVE lag so its not a big issue. I am just saying what will get it down the track faster? Thanks

just go with pump and meth. You could hit 10's with that setup. I would highly recommend you look into rebuilding your block though first.

Tuning on C16 will net you a 10 second pass for sure, and certainly allow you to push more than 26-28 psi. You could skip the meth injection altogether and run C16 with a small shot for spool. Or if you have E85 in your area you could look into that as well.

I hit nitrous on my motor w/ a 35R as well...

did a 11.3 with all wheels spinning off the line..
got absolutely no traction in first and still hit that time..

could've done much better...was only running 22psi of boost and a 75hp shot..

I think you could try it with a good tuner..
