amsoil series 2000 for transmission ???
i talked to a amsoil dealer he gave me this amsoil series 2000 100% synthetic 75w-90 race proven gear lube. Any of you guys use it before in your tranny?its says API MT-1, GL-2 THRU GL-5.. HELP PLEASE

No, that is not what you want. You want Amsoil MTG (http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mtg.aspx).

I wouldn't run severe gear in my transmission. The only Amsoil gear oil that meets the specifications for the transmission is the MTG. Severe gear is a GL-5 fluid which may cause excessive wear to your synchros. I'm surprised that Amsoil recommended a GL-5 fluid for your transmission, although who knows what info the dealer gave them.
