Switched Back from MBC to Stock Config

I took off my MBC and switched back to stock configuration. Now my car only boosts .80 BAR. The only difference is that I used new vacuum lines for both the wastegate and the nipple from the turbo housing. Any ideas anyone?

I think they said there's a restrictor in the line to the wastegate. Since you replaced the line, you ditched the restrictor too. Maybe that's making the difference?

Right on the money regarding the brass restrictor iodine23. That and the fact that the new vacuum hose diameter may also be having an additonal affect as well.

Man......you just saved me from spending $300 on a Profec B Spec II. I had already given up on trying to figure out what was going on.

FYI

12413AS is just a reference number. The real part number is MN143555

There is a restrictor in the hose that connects to the turbo housing and the one leading to the boost control solnoid.

Sounds like your wastegate is running it's static pressure as if you had a mbc connected but turned all the way out to the lowest setting. There is a restrictor in the line going from the turbo to the t-fitting to the wastegate and also another one going from that t-fitting to the factory solenoid as well. Not sure if this will do it but could be an easy fix. Also make sure that the lines are hooked up properly to the wastegate.

Here is a pic I found on the forums. The lower hose on the solenoid is coming from the t-fitting from the turbo/wastegate line.
Hope this is of help.
