Record DSM 35r Dyno Numbers.

IN REFERENCE TO THIS THREAD:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=343721

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Took the car down to www.ISPRacing.com in Maryland to let Brad Brooks work his magic on the car/AEM..

Results speak for themselves (and I believe its a record):

600whp/392wtq on 23.5psi and Sunoco 94 Pump Gas

721whp/486wtq on 33psi falling to 31psi and VP Q16

During the first few pulls of the day on pump gas, we gained 40whp (540whp to 580whp or so) by adding Victors/Brads 24-tooth triggerdisc and re-syncing timing. Car also had about 15 minutes of cool down. Something worked there too.

We could have made more on pump gas, but we couldn't raise the boost past 24psi on pump gas. We finally figured it out once the race gas map was added, but I was happy with 600whp.

Car has a pretty old school setup.

1g Ported Head
HKS 272 Cams/Stock Cam Gears
4year old block built by Shep, Ross 9:1/Crowers

Good stuff:

Regular NON-HTA 35r, Tial .82 housing.
Shearer Long Tube Header
Shearer 4" Garrett Intercooler.

This is all through a crazy FWD exhaust that has 100 stupid bends in it.

Anyways, here's the video:

Any questions, let me know.

The car is a full weight FWD street car. It's not meant to be a drag car in any way/shape/form.

If I wanted a 2300lb drag 1g I would have built one.

Until then, I have the numbers (without spray too!).

Under the hood is gorgeous! Great power!. How the hell is that possible at sub24psi? That 150whp more than most Evos do at that boost level!
