What Rods should I use to run 40psi+ boost?(I have Eagle Rods right now...HTA37R)
Today we did a compression test and it was 175psi on all cylinders. I just thought about checking the compression before we install my turbo.(hta37R) I know that it is not safe to run more than 35psi on eagles.(after reading bunch of thread about eagles)
I just want to run low 10's on race gas and mid 10's on pump.
Should I switch to Carillo? Crowers BR spec? or Oliver? Do I have to rebalance the piston with the new rods? or pretty much just swap it ?

swap them man. I did Brian Crower Pro series rods. They are about 500 bucks and Brian himself said they are good to over 1100. You know I made the power with them with no issue. Plus they have the new Custome Aged ARP 625+ Rod Bolts which are stronger then the L19 bolts. GL

Crower are very good and so are Pauter
I snapped a Crower in half but it was used from another motor so its hard to know what it went through.
For a daily driven car that is my choice best bang fro the buck.
I would avoid eagle - they are junk, IMHO.
I am now using BR Alum rods and those are the ultimate rod but I am not sure how they would hold up for a true daily driven 4 seaons car. I hear conflicting data.
