O2 dump install issues

So I'm in the process of installing my o2 dump. In the process of removing the manifold I broke the top left stud. There is about .5" of the stud sticking out of the head, maybe a little more. But unfortunately the entire stud isn't threaded so I can't get two nuts on it and back it out. The stud is pretty small so I don't really see drilling out as being effective.

As much as I want to do it right, and make the proper repair, I don't want to make things worse than they are and damage the head. If anyone has some advice on getting it out it would be greatly appreciated. But I really want to know how important having that last nut on there is. What do you guys think the chances are that I say forget it and not have issues? The gasket is pretty thick and I think it would seal without it. But I'd rather do it right if it's gonna cause problems. Give me some input guys, thanks!

If you can heat it up and spray lube on it. It will help then get a pair of vise grips on it and back it out. If that doesn't work it has to be drilled out. But you need to be very careful not to damage the thread or drilling to far and damaging the head.

Half inch is enough for my Napa stud remover kit.. heat the surrounding area and give it some taps on the face to help break loose. Lube too

get a stud remover kit if you can't take it off with 2 nuts.
