my gas pedal sticks help

Sup i have a problem were my gas pedal sticks when you 1st get into car when its cold out. Any ideas on how to fix ?

sup man, I would check the pedal itself and make sure its not getting stuck on something, also check the throttle cable in the engine bay. a little bit of lube might help too. i got some synthetic grease if you need it.

check to see if the rubber stopper is still behind the gas pedal. Mitsubishi install this rubber stopper to prevent the driver from "hitting the pedal to the metal!" My buddy's 08 evosis was doing this as well. The removed the rubber stopper and voila, no more pedal being stuck.

hmm i was thinking more off a cable stick than the actuall pedal but yeah what he said sounds good too.lol good luck man. drive safe

Have someone look under the hood while you press on the throttle.

I've noticed this same problem, it goes away when the engine is fully warmed up. I think you should just grease up the throttle body shaft seals with lithium grease.
