what are the best spark plugs
i was just wondering the best plugs to get? ive heard some good stuff about the denso but 60 bucks for plugs seems to be alot of money for spark plugs.. the last time i bought some i got ngk's for like less than 2bucks a plug....

Depends on your mods and tune
I have BPR7ES and I have 300whp and is generally the most commonly used until around 450whp on most dynos.
People with 400whp+go with BPR8ES or BPR9ES as they are 1 and 2 heat ranges colder consecutively.
If you are mildly modded go with the 7's. The 8's and 9' foul much faster.
Just be sure to gap them as they are often off from the factory. Gap them to .024-.025.

/\ spark plug gap can depend on ignition system, from what I have read on here. I think they are gapped at .028 out of the box, if I remember correctly.

no im just completly stock and just new to the evo world so i gotta get know the essential about it!
i got the 7's earlier and they gave me a ****ing used one and 3 brand new ones WTF!! and then to top it off they didnt give me my receit, i hope theyll give me a new one...

. They are only like $2/each. I have like 12 extra ones

Use stock untill you have an issue. You will not see any gain by switching to 8's. if you dont needd them you can foul them out faster causing you to have to change them more frequently. If the 7's are running great then keep them.

I have had very good luck with bpr7eix. they lasted me 4 years (hard life) before I melted the ground strap off of one of them. If you want coppers, I like either the br7es or if you are going to move up in boost/power I would go with br8eg. You also have the option of the non-projected tip on the iridium with the br7eix and br8eix. the non-projected tips seem to live longer in higher boost situations(don't melt the ground strap as easy).

imo the NGK Iritops r the best spark plugs for the evoes.
Many may know NGK do not make Iritop spark plugs for the evo and their stated they only fit GTRs. however these plugs actually DO FIT evoes, give it a try, they work on mine
