evo9 block with evo8 head

i did a search and could not come up with any real concrete data... so my question is... if i buy an evo9 block would i be able to use my evo8 head, cams, exhaust manifold, and evo 9 turbo? will this all bolt to my evo8 trans? also if yes then what has to be done to a 9 block to work with an 8 head...thanks in advance....

all you need to put an evo 8 head on a 9 block is a fitting for the oil pressure sensor its not hard to find it

all you have to do is block oil feed for mivec on back of block. and extend the wire for low oil pressure sender since the 9 has it mounted on oil pump housing instead of back of block.

i have an evo8 ecu as my car is an evo 8...only reason im asking about the 9block with 8 head is that it is hard to find an 8 block with low miles....

I had thought the evo 9 had some revised water passages. Do these line up with an 8 block and none have to be plugged or altered?
