Odd Clunking Noise
Okay, so I just installed the Energy Suspension Master Bushings kit, this includes rear diff. side mounts and the mustache bar bushings. I drained my rear diff and flushed it, then I filled it with Redline 75W90 Gear Oil.
Now everytime I let of the throttle the rear of the car makes this awful winding noise, and sometimes a clunking sound... On occasion it has even made a wobbling noise like the driveshaft was lobing around or something.
I have no idea what this noise is? I have checked, double checked, and triple checked the rear diff fluid.. I have drained it and re-filled it 2 times now. The fluid is clean aside from some small amounts of metal shavings on the drain plug.
What could this be?
Oh yea, I am at 70,000 miles and the last time the diff. fluid in the rear was changed was a long time ago. I forgot to do it

uh.. all normal man.
The whining is because you now have solid mounts and not soft rubbery ones..
And providing you put the forward rear end bushings/washers in the right order.. nothing is wobbling in your drive shaft.. its all solid.
If you are worried about the drive shaft.. i suggest the brass bushings for them.. tho at the min i forget who makes them.. give me a min..
