possible bent valve?

Could a rocker comming off the lifter cause a bent valve? had a rocker come off the lifter cause i had solid lifters. Just got new hydraulic lifters and all the rockers were fine. i'm having a hesitation at 7000 and past that and it seems like my car is getting flooded. it sounds like a suby after for about 10-15 seconds then it comes back to normal. i have dual springs and hks 272 cams. please help

Seems like if the valve was bent the problem would be there all of the time. Any put-putting from the exhaust at idle? Otherwise, maybe a weak valve spring and float.

Just put in brand new lifters and yes i did bleed them and the car runs perfect at idle thru 6000-7000 rpm.

Well, the circle track guys figure valve springs are good for 500 miles. At the rpm they run the springs get hot and lose their tension. So, if you have used the car like this then it might be useful to pull the springs and have them checked.

Another thing that comes to mind is maybe the ignition is breaking down at high rpm.
