4G64 DOHC 7-bolt block with Evo head
Hi I have access to a 4G64 DOHC bottom end to buy to use with my Evo head but I want to be clear on what is necessary to make it work. It has been a little confusing in searching for the necessary info as they are different generations of the engines each with different things to be done. I have the forged rods and will purchase the Wiseco stock bore (86.5mm) pistons:
1)With 91oct should I get the HDs which are 9.7:1 or the regular Wiseco 9.1-9.3:1 compression ratio
2)Which timing belt ,cam gears, water pump and oil pump do I have to use to accommodate the evo head?
3)Which is the best head gasket and where can i get it from. I hear they are prone to head gasket failure so I wanna get it right

I run one and haven't had a HG issue yet. I use a Power Enterprises. It is supposed to be the same as the HKS, which is rut Norris runs in his green car, except an 87mm bore. The block is an easy swap, you just need a water pump adapter which is like $20, and a solution for the alternator bracket.
If I did it all over again I would find a good block that doesn't need to be bored, so that could keep an extra .5mm of piston wall.
