Coil pack and spark plug wires test

Could someone with a manual help me out and post the correct procedure for checking coil packs and spark plug wires with a multimeter? I've done searches, but I haven't found anything concrete yet.

I don't know electrical troubleshooting well yet, and I watched a video on testing spark plug wires, but EVO wires are set up a little differently because of the coil pack. I read in another post that the resistance on spark wires should be 15-19 ohms. Where do I measure this resistance?

And how about the coil pack?

you measure the resistance across the plug wire

+'ve on one end and -'ve on the other of the plug wire

FSm says no more than 19k ohms on the wire

i am not familiar with the coil

You can just pull on the coil-side boot on the wire to get that end free from the coil? Don't want to rip the wire...

do you mean 1.9Kohms? 19,000 ohms seems like alot. every other spark plug wire I have tested seems to be average of 2k ohms or so for oem stuff.
