I currently have the stage 3 on my car and this thing is about to fall apart.

Story: Had it on my stock turbo tuned and ran great. I only launched it 2 times since the install and put around 10-12k miles on it. Well fast forward a year later, I upgrade to HTA Green tuned on E85 and it also held during the pulls. But after making the first launch it just never gripped and slipped all the way to 7.5k rpms when I let go. This apparently toasted the clutch and feels like its going to die. It chatters now when trying to do a smooth engagement when rolling out from a stop.

Well anyways, I just ordered the Competition Clutch Twin from MAPerformance (Excellent folks to deal with) and will be installing that soon. The CCI twin is rated at 700 wtq so I believe I should be fine. From reading previous reviews when they first came out they did have some issues of being harsh etc... but CCI revised them and the same customers highly recommend the revised versions.

Here is the thread. In the beginning posts you will see their first impression. But keep reading until you get to the revised posts and all the issues have been resolved.

I'm currently around 450whp level so I think you will also benefit from the twin as well.

I know I dont have the clutch yet to give you my personal experience, but hope the link I provided was helpful to give you some info on the clutch from others experiences.

The Stage 4 or the twin are the only ones that will be capable of holding the amount of power you're looking to put down

if you have the budget definitely go for the twin. if not then the stage 4 will do it and get the cci flywheel along with it.

In all honesty sir the stage 4 likely won't support your future goals, even 400whp is at its limits as advised by CCI themselves. We did initial testing for the CCI clutches and they are great for mild modifications, but they only increase clampload 20% over stock and the disc provides the rest of the capacity. I would look into their twin as recommended above or a different single, I would be happy to make some recommendations just PM me

Agreed. I would have never upgraded to the Triple if it were not for the power I was looking to make. I think at my power level the Twin would not have been very happy
