Garrett, yes.
MHI, yes.

*shrug* I saw them at PRI. They are impressive looking turbos. All I was pointing out was that my experience with high-performance parts is that the first revision of anything is rarely if ever without its flaws, especially when said part spins at 100,000 RPM.

Turbo manufacturers that build for OEM have much higher standards of quality and durability that strictly aftermarket manufacturers. They also have a much larger budget for rigorous testing, and I doubt the EFR line will show any real problems.

FYI, Borg Warner is the second largest OEM turbo supplier behind Garrett/Honeywell Turbo. MHI is number 3 I think.

Turbo's aside, wonder if that chick narrating the video is as hot as she sounds.

The speed sensor bung is cast into the compressor cover, but it is not drilled through from the factory. It has to be drilled in order to actually connect into the compressor area itself. It's a valuable and well thought out option, but does not affect anyone who does not want to use a speed sensor.

The turbo sounds promising but I'm sure the twinscroll haters will chime in saying how TS is useless and too expensive yet BW is investing tons of money into developing it.

Click on the column for which ever turbo you're interested in and it will take you to a page dedicated to each turbo.
For instance, click on the 76mm in the blue column.
I paid over $100 less shipped for mine...

Did you see the dyno chart of the Sierra Sierra Evo running the 9180?
