450whp Goal...

I'm looking to either retune or upgrade some parts to get me safely to the 450whp range.
Current set up:
FP Green
Evo 9 Wastegate
Gsc Springs
Gsc S1 cams
Ferrea 6000 series +1mm valves
255 Walbro
Aeromotive Fuel rail
RC 1000 injectors
AMS fuel line
AEM CAI
ETS 3" intercooler
Xs Power UICP
Custom LICP
Megan Manifold
Invidia 3" N1 Exhaust & downpipe
Forge BOV
E85
Currently running 25psi

What are your thoughts/suggestions.....

Cheers,
-J

Turn up the boost? Your setup looks fine the way it is, what power are you making now?

I'm making around 376whp at altitude.......

Thinking I might have to get a different Wastegate like the FP or MAP so I can turn it up, its all the way up now.....

Also thought about GSC S2's

I wouldn't bother with changing the S1 for S2, you will kick yourself in the butt for thinking it will make a big difference and for spending the money. To actually get to 450whp at your altitude I think you may have to step up to something big like a 6262 or hta35r

I agree. Something larger at altitude will be needed to be "safe".

That's not very much boost on E85!
Is that the OG Green, or HTA?
Are you looking for Uncorrected or corrected? Mustang or Dynojet?
Which of those is your 374?

I was tuned at 5280ft for 26psi on 91octane over a year ago and have been pounding the snot out of it ever since, problem free.

Its the OG Green.

Sorry I'm not sure if those number are corrected or uncorrected on Revolutions Dyno Dynamic dyno, I might have them do a few base line pulls for me so I really know where I am.

Probably going to order a FP wastegate today as I'm at the max on the stock 9, boost is turned all the way up.

I look at your modification list and do not see a boost controller. What are you using?

A wastegate actuator alone shouldn't net you gains.

To reach your 450whp goal, you are going to have to get a larger turbo, such as a FP red.

You can start with the lesser option and get a nice email tune and a food set of second eyes on your tune before adding any parts. The FP Green pushing 450whp even on E85 at altitude is pushing it, my friend. More air might be in order.

Send the turbo to be a HTA Green. It will make the power.

I have a Hallman MBC, thoughts on changing the wastegate for pushing more boost.
I changed the stock wastegate to a FP high pressure (25psi) turned it up and am getting around 30-32psi during fourth gear pulls. Seems to tapper off pretty quick though.
I may get another tune.............

Yeah, I'm thinking I may need to go with a bigger turbo and a fresh tune. I'd like to stay on the stock bottom end for now and I'd like to have something that spools fairly quick. I'm not really sure what turbo will allow that.

Send it back to FP? I emailed them about that and was told I couldn't, the guy was being a little short so I stopped dealing with him.

Here is the link you need to research the rebuild process that Forced Performance provides:

http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...=Turbo-Upgrade

It is a matter of potential flow potential, my friend. the next logical step for a turbo suitable that can flow enough air would be either the FP Red or MAP EF3 turbo.
