Question if ICS has gone bad

Is this part bad or good? I've just replaced it, but I wasn't sure if it was my problem or not.

Really can't tell by the pictures. If you have a multi-meter you can use that to check for resistance between certain pins to figure out if it's bad. I had idle problems and though it was the iac..bought a new one and installed it. Then I came across the directions for testing it 1 day later and turned out it was fine so I re-installed it.

Sometimes they get real dirty so a quick fix is to clean it and spray it with some break cleaner to clean off the carbon build up.

Goodluck
