How to remove intake manifold stud on the head?

One of the bolts/stud is stripped. It's the bolt on the head and uses a nut to bolt on the intake manifold. I can't tap it so I need a new one, just wondering how it's removed.

If you cant put a double nut on it (tighten against each other) cause of the stripped threads then you can just try a pair of vise grips. Just be real easy when breaking it loose. If it breaks then you're in for a world of hurt.

Vice grips should work if the stud is sticking out a bit, otherwise they actually have a tool that looks like a deep well socket thats actually made for removing studs, but yeah, if it breaks, thats going to be a headache
