Issue installing GSC S2 Cams.
So I was torquing the Camshaft Position Sensing Cylinder (98+/-8 ft-lb). The bolt did a reverse mushroom. So a few questions is that the correct torque spec, as per the FSM it is. The next question has anyone had this happen before?
Here is the pic of the parts.

that is most definately WRONG, 22nm is only 16 ft lb...it's showing up the oil pressure reg bolt as 11nm and 98 ft lb too, that thing would snap at about 30lb ft let alone 98.

Ya I figurd I would post up, because it seems very easy to make this error if you follow the FSM. I have destroyed the bolt and cylinder, so I am going to replace those.
So to everyone, if the number seems wrong, check it aginst the NM spec and see if the numbers add up. This was a 50 dollar mistake, and requires that I wait 3 days before getting the car running again.

I mean hell the Cam Caps are 20nm(15ftlb), and that bolt was 22nm, that should have tipped me off right away that 98ftlb was wrong.
It is not a huge problem, I am sure it was better that I was not out street tuning the evo last night .

LOL, ya there was a point where I was like this seems wrong, but there it is in the FSM. I should have listened to my gutt. When ever doing anything related to the motor I always refer to the FSM, and this time it ****ed me.
