Did you want info on the new Competition Stage 3.5 clutch or the older Stage 3 clutch? Your title and post don't mention the same one.

I meant to put kevlar segmented disk in the title my bad. Its part # 5106-2300. As far as I can see the stage 3.5 is ceramic this one must be the "older" one you are talking about it has the kevlar disk.

Here's a good review of one - https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...-flywheel.html

Here's a not-so-positive one - https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ill-death.html

I also have this clutch, had it installed about a year ago and its been in the car for ~14,000 miles. Stock powered (for now) and it holds fine. No lockout in high RPM shifts. I DD the car and autocross with it and it takes the heat like a champ. I autocrossed once with the stocker and the pedal felt mushy until I had it replaced with the CC Stage 3. There was quite a bit of shuddering when it was first installed though, went away during the break-in period. The only real drawback is stated in the second link I posted, I guess the clutch doesn't take well to massive amounts of slipping during a launch, not that I've bothered to try, as I never launched with this clutch. Overall, great clutch for DD and autocross

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the pedal feels a bit softer than stock, one of my favorite things about the clutch.

Well I basically want something to hold up to around 450tq. Also be able to launch it when I decide to go to the track. Do you think the ceramic clutch would be a better choice then? Or any others that would also work well? dont really want an act clutch...

Here's some reviews of the new Stage 3.5 -

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...d-ceramic.html

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...-alt-hdss.html

The new Stage 3.5 is rated to 525 ft-lbs and is a different material than the old Stage 3. That should hold the power you're looking to make, as the Stage 3 is only rated to ~350 ft-lbs.
