Exclamation Clutch to the floor. Brake fluid leaking.

SO i was driving around, i felt the gera popping out of 4th everytime even at cruising speed.
all the sudden when i tried to get my car going from a stop light, clutch pedal goes to the floor, i see brake fluid leaking on the ground and there are brake fluid on the top of transmission right under where the transmission mount is.
what could have gone wrong??

The whole thing. Can be picked up at most parts stores for like 30 bucks.

And on the transmission mount are you talking about the one closer to the front or rear of the car?

i mean the motor mount right above the transmission on the passenger side.

Sounds like the soft rubber line has a hole. Or the threaded part is loose...or the master cylinder is leaking.

Yeah, sounds like master cylinder blown. If it's leaking onto the floorboard that's usually a sign. Not a hard fix. Just lift your carpet up and check, if it's drenched, that's it.

my shifter felt loose like it was not centered and it was wobbling in place even once it was in gear. is this issue also due to the cylinder?

Get under the hood and see what's leaking. Us car guys are good, but we need a car in front of us to properly see what's leaking to advise you what to do. If you can take a picture, or see what is dripping, we can advise on what to do next.
