which lifters should i buy

the ticking on my motors driving me up a wall and im getting really anoyyed, its obvious i have a collapsed lifter im getting it looked at once more then im ordering a set, whats the best set i can get, i have 272 cams and im looking for something that will be quiet.

are lifters like this good for the job??

I have the GSC Non tick lifters and they are awesome!!! put it this way on my fully built 2.4 they're probably the quietest component i have lol

I have heard nothing but great things about the GSC zero tick lifters

+1, 2 I have em and they are quieter then oem and thats with running 20w50 oil.

thanks guys i ordered the gsc no ticks hopefully i can eliminate the dumb*** ticking noise the motor makes. Im going to go ahead and do plugs and a new pvc valve as well.

You guys make a convincing argument i'm getting a set too,specially the price ain't too bad when you consider that OEM lifters are like $30.00 + each.

you guys can hear the ticking over all the other noises these motors make?

j/k btw, on my stock block, the lifter tap was horrendous.
