evo 8 stutter
Hey guys,
So big mistak on my part. I cleaned off my engine the othe night, the next day i drove the everything was fine. 2 days later i take the car out and it starts acting up. On WOT i get a wierd stutter but the car still picks up. Im not trying to push through it. The car runs and idles normal. I can even redline it through first if i dont floor it. 2-5 will do it off boost if im WOT. so far ive changed the plugs, cleaned the MAF with brakleen and done a boost leak test. There was some water in the one spark plug well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys

At least you found, and cleaned up, the water in the one plug well.
Another guy had FROZEN water in all of his spark plug wells and had the same breakup issues at wot. Not sure what his cure was or if he even found it yet.
I would simply make sure everything is nice and dry and not frozen...I see you are in NJ so I'm assuming its still pretty cold there....check for vacuum leaks...the water pressure could have knocked a vacuum line complete off..
GL and let us know when you figure it out!
Double check your coils and wires again...especially the boots and I would put some dielectric grease in your spark plug boots.
