I would go beehive but like stated before everything depends on what components are being used and what you are going to do with it.
If it is on an IX you might want to think about beehives, some people have had issues with the mivec gear and have suspected that maybe the supertech duals have played some part. No concrete proof but.......

I installed GSC S2 in my IX and ran GSC 5041 springs and retainers. They worked great and was revving to 8000 rpm.

BTW: I have GSC 5041 for sale.

Check out GSC 5041.....
I just replaced my Supertech with the GSC 5041 cause of the retainer to seal height. With their specs you shouldn't need to upgrade....

If you decide to go Supertech duals LMK since I have a set I would sell. Around 1k miles on them.

But what about the MAP Beehives? I have a 9 with S2s and just want some insurance. I'm boosting 29psi tuned at English racing. Just want to have the valvetrain setup before swapping in the S2s. I've had good luck with MAP and they seem like a steal with ti retainers. 1.56" seat at 68lbs, good to 11.4mm and the S2s only put out max of 11.2. Ideas?
