Clutch + Flywheel job now no reverse/2nd/4th
1st 3rd and 5th engage with no problems but when I put it in reverse and let the clutch out it pops it out or if I force it in it grinds...
Did I install My shift linkage incorrectly? Does it need to be adjusted?
Help! Gotta drive the car TONIGHT.

I had a pic of it on my old phone, but I don't have any pics on my iphone. But it's going to be under the metal piece where the shifter cables connect to on the transmission. It should be two 10mm or 12mm bolts holding it. That's the piece that gave me problems, it actually fell off when I did my clutch and didn't notice it till the last minute. I ordered a new one and when I put the new one on I had the same problems you did. I just messed with it until I could get into those gears.
So if you have a stock battery it's going to have to come out again(If this is what's causing the problem). What I did was just set the battery in the bay and started it and see if I could get in to the gears, since I didn't know if it was actually getting all the way in with the car off. Hopefully this helps!
