Name that part!

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of removing a bunch of auxiliary stuff on a new acquisition (multiple issues related to them) and found a unknown aftermarket part I can't figure out what it is. It is probably really simple, I'm just not getting it.

There are no markings on the unit except "AT3050-95646"
It consists of a black box, 3x2x1 and several wires exiting. There is a power supply harness that taps in between the ignition switch and ignition harness (NO intercepting of signal, just parallel to power the box in all positions).
There is a single wire that went up behind the dash and tapped the Blue/Red VSS wire to the cluster.
There are two wires that went across to the ECU tapping pins 76 and 78 (Front O2 and Knock).
There is a small thin wire harness coming out with about 7 wires, rainbow colors. They did not go anywhere, just wadded up and wrapped with a ton of electrical tape at the end (And most wires touching, yay).

Any takers?

Hmm. You think the thin wires went to a controller for it and the PO took the controller and left the main unit? Seems odd. That was my first suspicion (timer) when I saw it hooked in to the ignition switch, but it seemed odd that it was parallel.
