RS LSD in 03 Evo 8 tc?
I cannot seem to find any concrete answer anywhere in the forum on this question. I have a non acd 03 evo 8 gsr... I just purchased an RS diff and only AFTER found out that I'd have to send it somewhere to be installed and can't do it myself? Is that true, can I not follow the how to install Quaife with this? Please any help appreciated, and don't rip me a new one please for the noob question.

I don't see why you couldn't just follow the how to on post 21. If you have any more questions about install or removal, that thread is packed with good info. Good luck!

One thing to note is the evo t-case has a lot of internal seals which have to be perfect and undamaged in order for the fluids not to mix. If you damage any of the sensitive seals you can kill the unit. You have to be very careful or hundreds of dollars just got thrown away. That might be why people tell you that you must have a person with experience do this.
If you do kill a seal. Don't take any chances. We can sell you any seal you need.
Good luck!

Thanks again Jack.
Good note on the seals! Be extra carefully during disassembly to keep the seals intact/ not ripped. I go ahead and order a complete set of seals from Jacks, just as a precaution while I tear open any t-case. Might as well replace them all while you're down there, and it's cheap insurance: price < $100
