Built engine ~10% compression difference in 1 cylinder
What would you think if you were about to buy a built evo and you did a compression test on it and it resulted in about 135 psi in 3 cylinders and 125 in the cylinder near the timing belt? I know this is within the 10 percent variance. The miles on the build were about 4k. I didn't think to add oil in the cylinder to see if it was the rings.

Having a cylinder 10 psi lower than the rest wouldn't bother me much (I'd prefer they all be the same but one low is almost normal) but 135 on the other three seems low for an engine with only 4K on it.

Was it fully warmed up? Forged piston Motors need to be at operating temp. Also find out what compression ratio because 135 is close service limit for old 7.8:1 4G63 Motors.
