1200cc and single walbro 255 on E85?

i have done so much research i have a headache and im just trying to get down to a solid assumption. what i have found is the modded single 255 will get to 500 dropping pressure on e85 and ive seen 1200cc injectors go over 600whp. currently im making 372/400 on a VD at 30psi e85 on stock 8.5 turbo and ill be installing a jb fpblack just wanting to double check if i can get to about 470whp realistically or should i just go back to pump gas on the same fuel system if im not going to be gaining much and maxing out my fuel system beyond its means on e85 and the fp black over pump gas on same setup. im safe to say i wanna hit 470 if thats possible or about 430 on pump. i guess my question is im trying to figure out if i should stay on e85 and can make more than 430 or go back to pump gas and relieve my fuel system until further upgrade money is had. thanks in advance for help

mods currently are

jb ported fp black w/hp wg
gsc s1 cams
precision 1200cc
walbro 255 single modded
3'' turbo back exhaust
stock manifold
hallman pro mbc/ or grimmspeed?
stock block/ built head(cams/retainers/springs)
ARP headstuds
all hard piping and AMS fmic
evo 9 MR bov crushed

Just to add on another person, I made 480whp (safely) on a single walbro and 1250cc injectors. So you should be good man. GL

well all in all thats atleast leading me to stay on e85 rather then switch back to pump gas. i was under the impression that about 450 was max i could go. and if i an make 430 on pump id rather just do that. but if i can make 470-480 or so then thats worth staying on it haha. thanks for the input guys

Think of it this way. The same power level on E85 is safer than on pump. So it is cheap insurance.

while this is true, I was thinking in regards to my fuel system being maxed out and risk running lean, vs on pump gas my fuel system would be running at like 50%, tune would just be a lot less agressive. and also it would make it a hell of a lot easier to take my car on long trips if I ever needed to or wanted to. not to mention I drive 60 miles a day just to work and I go through a tank of e85 every 3 days

Worst case dual map it and use pump gas on long trips. The car even at the same boost just feels so much happier to me on E85 than gas. It even sounds better to me.

I second that as well. Plus pump gas smells like absolute death compared to e85. Here's the thing and I want you to consider it and not take offense to it. I was in the exact same boat as you and didn't wanna have to spend the money on a double pumper to make my target power. But, I realized to keep the car happy and do things right, I would have to. Me and my tuner made a best of 530whp out of a stock modded walbro, but, it was waaaaaayyyy to lean and there was zero reason to leave it there and have the motor blow a month down the road from fuel pump failure or whatever. So, I saved up a couple paychecks and bought a double pumper. Now I have room to grow for awhile. Think about that. If you're only setting a goal of 480-490whp, what was even the point in getting an FP Black?

Like I said, not bustin your *****, just lettin you know I know the situation you're in.

no offense taken at all, the reason I got the black is because one of my technicians at work has an evo and got it. well hes selling it to me for stupid cheap and in payments at that so why not right. and if it puts me in a better powerband than the stock turbo im all for it. I had plans to upgrade to bigger turbo after I got fuel system upgraded first but since the turbo came early I figured id make due with the fuel system I have and make the best of it right now. but in any case I do already have 2 walbro 255's and was looking to making my own double pumper setup but it appears to cost almost the same as just buying one from what ive seen. but havnt looked into that much

on another note, i also was wondering what the modded single 255 with rewire kit would get me. will it overrun the stock fpr? or what if i did the mod and rewire and got a aftermarket fpr. wonder how far that would get me. cause i know the rewire is only like 20 bucks. and im just trying to get enough headroom onthe pump system to make almost 500hp right now.
