Rough idle - Cold weather?

Hey guys so i live in AZ and its finally getting into temps below 50 sometimes even in 30's and it seems like my car is acting up again. It is idling rough and its slightly shaky during idle every couple seconds and when it does this the AFR's jump pretty rich (11-13 to 1 and it normally idles at around 15.0 to 1. Is this weather related? It seems like every week i'm having some issue with this Evo from hell lol. Thanks guys

Research research research I was just looking this issue up earlier. And it must be rough only hitting the 30s! It's -20 before the 20 mile hr winds

Cold weather idle issues are almost always related to a faulty or leaking (leaking vaccum) IAC from my experience. in Arizona you have a lot of sand too I assume. Use some MAF cleaner unless you're running SD. I'm in Chicago so I know cold weather issues.

I'm on my cell phone so I can't see any of your mods. Do you have the stock intake rubber tube? And if so are you still running the valve cover vent tube back to the intake? Aftermarket intake tubes suck. All my idle issues went away when I swapped my JM Fab intake tube back to the stock one. And yes I did rescale the MAF and it didn't matter. The car only wanted to run like poop with that intake tube.

my evo does that. when idling is raises the rpms just a bit and then lowers back to normal. then it will dip a bit and then stabilize (rpms). when they dip the afrs get a bit rich for a second. it's always done this. it's nothing dramatic. when it's colder outside like when I lived right next to canada it was rough

Im gonna make a boost leak tester... hopefully it can detect one in the intake manifold. Thats the only place where i could think of that might have one...
