APS Turbo Back Exhaust w/ Pics
I swapped out my RMR downpipe, Perrin Cat Delete pipe and JIC catback exhaust for a new APS Turbo Back.
I wanted a much cleaner look from the back of the car and the APS is perfect. It very much resembles an IS300 exhaust from a glance.
TO me, the round canister style mufflers are just too ricey.
One look at the APS and I was impressed - each section was inspected (and approved - see decal) and all weld points where ground smooth. The attention to detail was amazing.
The exhaust fits much tighter against the chassis and no piping is visible from under the car. Yes, it does have more bends than the JIC, but it looks a hell of a lot cleaner.

APS makes a very nice exhaust. I used their exhaust on my WRX.
Eric-
I believe the muffler is similar to the one used for the WRX, only with an offset inlet (baffled).
Smokin'-
How about a sound clip!

The APS is truly a quality piece. I'm amazed with the super thick flanges and incredibly perfect fit.
The sound is deeper and somewhat quieter than the JIC I had previously
The muffler is a straight-thru design with no baffle.
I'm unfamiliar with the WRX APS, so I couldnt tell you if the muffler is the same. Compared to the straighter JIC (which hung under the rear diff), the car feels to pull stronger in the lower revs with the APS. I believe the increased backpressure may have helped the low-end. Logic says that top end probably suffered a little, tho I couldnt feel a difference.
I'll see what I can do about getting a clip posted.
The JIC/RMR/Perrin set up sold on Ebay nearly a week ago.
