i posted this thread in evo general section but till now havent recived any replies, hope to get it here..

i just installed a brand new 2.1l shortblock and after firing the car for first time it was sounding like it was misfiring, like running on 3 cylinders after that with help from evoscan i found out it was the p0340 code.

this is what it says... ''P0340 No Camshaft Signal at EFI ECU"

whats the meaning of this?

did i miss something when installing the engine, or some sensor maybe?

the coil on plugs also bacame hot.

i need your help please!
