Rear Diff problem

I've never had the diff apart meaning I can't identify what you are showing us. However the grooves causes me to think it is part of the clutch pack as mentioned above.
The first problem with having junk in the differential housing is that the heavy oil gets moved around pretty good at speed and can pick up this stuff and run it through the gears. Also, finer metallic grit can work its way into bearings. On other differentials with similar problems, I've tried cleaning the case without complete disassembly but with replacing parts including any bad looking bearings and the result was that I had to go back in later and replace the side bearings again.
The second problem is that whatever is shedding metal might continue to do so. So, I suggest getting it rebuilt.

Parts of the differential gears.
Flush it out one more time, and keep changing the fluid every year or 10-12K.
I always use full synthetic fluid each time, and I have no issues. Good Luck.

tnx for replies , i have one more question , i've noticed some dry tarmac blocking problems , its actually working but when im doing 360 , car just stops spinnig on second circle , on wet and snow its ok . what do u think about this?

I replaced the fluid in my rear diff and found a little "tooth" piece came out, I know that means my rear diff is slowly going out right? Should I replace it right away? How much time do I have b4 it goes approximately? Guess I should stay away from the track for a bit...
