Tomei 280 Pro Cams - Evo 4-8 - Timing Settings
Hi All,
Just wondering if any of you guys may be running tomei 280 Pro cams (lash type) and what you have them dialed in at?
Currently just running mine at 0 - 0 but wondering if anyone has had a play with some tips / advices!
Thanks in advance

The intake cam has a LC of 110 degrees, which usually proves to be somewhat late for best street performance, unless one has a 2.3 and large turbo. I recommend advancing the intake cam 1-2 degrees for street work with stock-framed or mid sized turbos. The idle will become a bit more lumpy, but that is a consequence of a long duration cam set.

Thanks fellas,
I was running a stock frame tdo6sl / copy garret 2871 compressor wheel with a 3" anti-surge cover, but it was backing up due to the big cams. It put down 262kw on 98ron (australian hi octane pump.
I have just purchased one of the ATP stock location GTX3076's with the .63 internally gated turbo's, has a 22psi actuator. So just looking to see if i can push this thing to get me to 300+kw atw on our 98....
Car is a genuine Evo 5, built motor (Eagle Rods, Wiseco Pistons, Studs etc etc), 3" turbo back, intake, trust intercooler with 2.5" pipe work, ported stock exhaust manifold, rest of the supporting stuff is there running a Haltech Platinum Pro Evo 9 Plug in.
Any tips or suggestions would be great!
