50 trim Dyno numbers
We had an EVO come in the this past week for are simple 50 trim Turbo kit. Basic Turbonetics 50 trim w/ standard manifold, Tial 38mm.
We built or installed most of the basic supporting mods
RnR 50 trim kit, (stand. manifold)
680's, safc 2, MBC,
HKS 264 Intake, 272 exhaust
Buschur FMIC, etc, etc
3" 02 Elim Turbo Back
Pump gas, 20-21 psi, 350whp on Pann's dyno
I thought is was ok, but didn't want to push the car to much on pump gas.
It really is hard to make good power on 91 pump.
I have never really did much tuning on 91 before. I know on the GT35R Kit w/Equal length manifold we made 396whp on 91 octane and 21psi. That was with the Autroinc, not an s-afc.
On race gas and 24-25psi it made 412whp and 375ft.lbs. The car is very very fun to drive. It is a super repsonsive set up and makes plenty of useable power. I couldn't ask for anymore out of this set up. It spools as fast if not faster then the stock turbo set up and made 69whp more then the stock turbo.
The dyno dynamics dyno does read lower than most any other dyno out there, but you get the idea of how much more effiecient and easy it is to make power with the 50 trim turbo. We didn't even really push the car to the limits. We could ahve reaised the boost and leaned it out more but, we just wanted to give the customer a super reliable fast car.

It just goes to show how great this turbo kit is. It spools as good as stock and make a lot more power at the same boost levels.
Thanks for posting up the sheets for me.
