smart move or dumb move: buying SAE90 #3775610 Diaqueen oil to replace redline 75w90
Ok since everyone is talking about redline 75w90 and x-fer cases exploding because of it, another guy posted up about getting Diaqueen LSD Gear oil #3775610 from the dealer ship....I went today and bought some as well after work. i will be replacing the Redline 75w90 that is in the transfer case and rear diff with this new fluid. Smart idea or was it a bad one, or should I have just not worried about it?? Looks exactly like the big metal jug in the pic

How much was the 1 Gal jug?
Reason I am going with redline for the tranny is the $11.00 a quart price of the mitsubishi tranny fluid.
Thanks,
Keith

Eric it's really easy if you use a hand pump. Even with a tube running up and above the engine into the fill hole in the tranny, it's not bad at all.
I can actually do this faster than an oil change (stupid oil filter always takes forever to get off).
