i took a stock antenna & chopped it down to the rubber. about as long as the Perrin shorty now. not a loss in radio reception (city area) but might be on a road trip. the antenna core is white so i blackened the tip with a Sharpie!! here's pics...

looks good, and that car looks like it has 33 1/2 layers of wax on it. it looks so shiny and sexy. My new Graphite MR looked nice and shiny till snow hit and I was forced to drive it cause my winter car broke. And to top it off yesterday I had my rear bumper hit and left a small gouge right about the liscense plate. Dunno what to do about that yet....

why not?

the reason is when i bought the 03 we got looks in it like it was an exotic. my fiance had also been wanting to look at new cars. she drove an evo & almost rearended 6 cars due to the power. i had her look at every new car made at $50k or less to do a driving comparo. this took a whole year. she like the bby evo color (rarest & fewest made) & i found 1 in OR, & FL. she ended up buying an 04 Jag X-type for a steal ($26,200 w/fees) but wasn't happy with it cuz the 18's we put on were rubbing & you can't put an aftermarket stereo in it. she was driving 1 day & say the eblue evo at a dealer. we picked it up that day!

we will have 1 mildly tuned & 1 monster. iam trying to attempt the HKS Kansai way of life. for every car you mod have 2 for comparison to monitor your results.
