I hope MMC is reading these auction notices. Hopefully this guy who is pimping his allocation will not see many more.
You got to wonder if MMC is going to be real tickled when the hottest car ever by Mitsy is sitting in dealer showrooms and not selling because of that silly promise thing........ under 30K. It appears few customers are going to spend a lot over MSRP.

It's the dealer's problem if they can't move them at the price they set themselves, no? And the dealers own the cars once they're in their inventory right? I don't think Mitsu will care at all, it just means that people who sell at more acceptable prices will be the ones to sell most of, or possibly even "the rest of", the Evolutions.

why would they mark up these cars? its not supposed to be a limited production car, but it seems like the dealers want to give it that status. in the april SCC they state that mitsubishi will make as many as they can sell. so they'll make one if u order one. i believe someone else already stated this too.
all this mark up crap just doesnt make any sense to me at all
wait...i take that back...if they think they'll make more money marking up small numbers of evos than selling a lot and making money off volume and service, then it probably makes sense.

LOL I'm just laughing cuz this is from Florida. God bless the Bucs but not only can they not count their votes they can't tell from their own pictures it's a 4 door? Let alone marking it over $30,000 to start!!! Crack and too much of it.

MarkF and other folks who sell Mitsibushi's have indicated (I think) that the EVO 8 is a "halo" car. It's intent is to showcase the Mits name and capabilities. It is not going to add much to Mits sales simply because of the low numbers. Based upon that, MMC would have a great deal of interest in how they are selling.
That is my understanding and I certainly could have it wrong.
