Recharge Ac?

hey guys lets just say i had a incident with my AC and its drained was wondering how much it costs to get it refilled or recharged if they are the same thing or not? its basically a completly dry system right now so it would need all the freeon..

if its 2 much looks like ill b pullin it out haha lemme know thanks!

dude hope you didn't inhale or get any of that **** near your eyes when it came out that **** is dangerous

you need to vacuum the system, it is not empty.. then fill up with refigerant, using a scale to see the correct amount that you are putting in there... look in a shop manual for the correct filling weight.. dont buy those stupid refill cans at an auto store.. get it done right..

I don't think the new R134-A is that bad for you, sure you don't want to breathe it in, but I don't think it's that bad.

i didnt breathe it in or was near it haha im not a moron just have never delt with filling it i would love ur help if u dont mind i actually have to replace the condensor but i got a new one already so ill probly do that here soon then need to get it filled.... how much u think it will run lookevo?

well i went to an automotive college. so I can talk to one of my old instructors and see if he can hook us up. It might only be a few bucks or whatever for the R-134a, they have car club at the school every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. Thats where I did my springs and align. for free.

I recently had my ac recharged and it cost me about 117 bucks from the dealer including labor.

my bad been busy, yeah i used to go there. I graduated in 2002. if you need it right away maybe we can arrange something, but if not like i said its every 1st and 3rd Saturday

The cost for a recharge usually depends where you live...Warmer climates are cheaper because of the high amount of competition. Since you are in CO, I would guess $100-120 for a vacuum/recharge. -gabe
