Warrtalon on Cover of Sports Car magazine !
My man Clay - a/k/a Warrtalon is going hard core off road like a military jeep
Props for scoring the cover !
(poor evo)
representing Buschur Parts the hard core manner - BUSCHUR PARTS - Impossible to kill
Would you like some paint with your dirt ?
If he couldn't break drag records at 7,000 cft elivation - then what the heck just break your back and the evo too while your at it going 4 X 4
I hope you won man !

Hah, thanks Al. This is just a testament to what the Evo can do when you use the right parts. The day this photo was taken, I drove an hour to the track early in the morning to sign up and register. However, I didn't just register for the rallycross, but I also went half a mile down the road to the main facility to register for that days DRAG RACING. The drag lanes opened up before the rallycross, so I slapped down 3 straight low 12s hotlapped before heading over to the rallycross. I then ran the morning's heat on my same high performance summer tires (Falken RT-615). After my work session ended, I promptly packed my stuff up and drove BACK to the drag strip. Since the car was covered in dirt from head to toe, I had to then hose it off (luckily, there were hoses with free water), then when still not completely dry, I ran a few more low 12s with people looking at me like I was an alien. After that, I went back for the afternoon session and did even better (first time at rallycross). When that was over, I still had an hour left of drag racing, so I packed up, drove down the road, unpacked, hosed down, then hit the staging lanes. I ran two more low 12s, then packed up and drove an hour home without the Evo blinking an eye.
I was confident that with my Exedy clutch combined with Forge, Buschur, and GSC products, I could race the hell out of the car all day in the dirt and on the tarmac with no worries. The result was a magazine cover...

Congratulations, Clayton. Nice going!
Only in America. God bless the USA.
It is good to see someone work hard and get reguarded for their efforts.
ps. I collect all Evo VIII articles. This one will become part of it too, .

Edit: just read you post of the day the photo was taken, we should use that as the framework of the next EVOm shootout! Just add in the road course as well . I would love that
