for those with a replica jdm rear bumper..

I was wondering how you guys painted the diffuser part. Did you leave it how it was or had the guy paint it a certain black color? Getting ready to get mine painted, so any help will be appreciated.

Did you get the one off of ebay? If so, how was the quality? Does it fit up well?

I would think from the pictures you would just leave it. If anything you could just scuff it up and spray clear over it when you get the whole bumper painted. That way it is protected. I dont know how shiny the real one is down there though.

Hmm so will clear coat give it that "gloss" look? Thats what I have been seeing on the real jdm ones seems to be that way.

the real one is not painted black, it's actually more like a dark gunmetal with a bit of metalic in it.

first of all the bottom part is NOT BLACK PERIOD. its a shade of MET.GRAY. secondly why buy a knock off lol get the real thing then get it repainted etc if you have to like i did. third you can get those things on ebay for 425 shipped. here is a link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-07...Q5fAccessories

I say just buy the real thing and get it repainted matching the bottom color is gonna be hard unless you know the paint code for it because its not black. i bought a real one then took it to the paint shop to have it repainted bby. i rather have the real thing here is a pic of the bottom part

i should be getting mine back today i can post close up pics of the bottom part if you like
