Has anyone figured out how to make your horn work with a aftermarket steering wheel

There was a thread a few years ago when everyone complained about horns stopped working when installing PERSONAL steering wheels or other aftermarket steering wheels.

Has anyone found a fix???

I know this is old, but you have to wire the two signals through. That's how I did it with my honda, not sure if it's the same. Not hard at all.

I am going to redirect this post a little. Please forgive me.

For you people intending to keep your Evo forever one of the first things that will wear out and look bad is the steering wheel. This usually happens about the time the OEM wheel goes out of stock. So, now is the time to start shopping for another wheel. The wheel usually does not survive a wreck so buying them used is difficult.
