I have the same setup as you (sort of) except for the FMIC. I did my timing belt change and threw in the GSC S2's w/springs. I got tuned with the cams on the stock 03 VIII injector. I think im in the 90% IDC's so in my case i think it was "ok" but i see these run out of steam pretty quickly. Oh btw for a number I was at 320/318 on Iveys dyno with a pretty bad boost leak. So this info may not be super accurate for your case. I just wanted to state my experience.

Id be interested in what others have to say as well though.

Install the cams and get the car tuned. Your stock injectors will be fine with the added saftey of a 255lph fuel pump on the stock turbo

You'll need to log the car from there to determine when you'll need to upgrade the injectors.

Id assume the the "walbro" in his sig means he indeed has the 255lph pump so shouldn't be a problem. When he gets the car tuned it should be determined then if the injectors are running out of fuel. Once the tune is completed you shouldn't have much variation as long as other things do not change. Such as boost or other after-market parts. Maybe weather would have a little role in things but in my opinion who ever is tuning the car should leave more then enough head room for such variations. Safety cushions and what not.

Edit: unless you meant log the car from there on after to determine if injectors are need from modifying further.

Yea came out weird as when I first read his post I though he wanted to install the cams and try and push the car without tuning. Which is foolish

The only way to tell if the car needs more injector is by logging it at any stage of the game. Agreed this will be sorted in the tune.

It shouldn't though on the stock turbo i was no where close on a IX turbo and stock 03 injectors

No way to give you a def HP number but if I had to guess with your mods and cams you'll be around 320hp dynojet and no where near out of injector.

Not commenting on waiting since Jan for a timing belt kit

Couldn't tell you. The car was street tuned. I would like to find out myself and get some dyno numbers someday.
