Read the fine print.

"**US inquiries; at this time we are not able to sell the Evolution VIII.5 MR to clients who wish to use the vehicle for on highway use. We have a petition into the US DOT and NHTSA to allow this vehicle to be sold to US clients for street use."

Sorry no MR yet.

**US inquiries; at this time we are not able to sell the Evolution VIII.5 MR to clients who wish to use the vehicle for on highway use. We have a petition into the US DOT and NHTSA to allow this vehicle to be sold to US clients for legal street use. You can refer to this petition on the NHTSA site with petition number 15470. Please call for more information.

Yeah for 40K.. this car can be yours in another 2-3 years

Looks like Evolution Imports is at it again. Unfullfilled promises about legalizing the EVO VII for import and taking peoples money and after 2 years they STILL have NO car!!! Now trying to sell an EVO VIII MR...get freakin real!!

I wouldn't send these people ANY freakin money!!! You are a COMPLETE IDIOT if you do!!!

So they take money for "pre-orders" and the petition goes the same way as their EVO VII ones...then what?!?

Why do people want a FQ?? its only a evo with a couple of hks after market parts, all stuff you can do yourself. But an MR would be cool, but its from EI so youll never get your car.

This is all factory installed. no need to mess with it yourself. Also look at the potential collector value for a factory built hot rod. new vehicles like the prowler, old ones like an AAR cuda or Yenko camaro, just a few examples.

The MR and FQ has the AYC, ACD, and 6speed. stuff we don't have access to in the US right now.

The extra power is moot and too expensive. But the driveline goods would be nice if Mitsu offered, maybe with an SMT! Hello, Mitsu?
