Evo X Envy....

I've had my 9 for almost 8 years now and we are now in the 7th going on 8th year of the Evo X. In the past i never even considered letting my 9 go but lately the allure of a new evo has been on my mind.

Do my fellow 8/9 owners feel the same?

Go drive one. They have very different feels. Both are great cars just depends on what you are looking for.

I've driven plenty... I dont daily my Evo but since it will be the last evo the 2015 sparked some interest. The X isamuch better daily driver and has the cool technology one would expect with a new car.

Since i keep seeing the X it has rubbed off on me....

I have an X for a daily and my 8 for a weekend warrior. Best of both worlds.

I hear ya. I have way to much money invested in the 9 to just let it go... Then again its hard to justify having two evos.... Actually its easy for me but convincing the wife would be difficult.

Driven plenty myself. I wouldn't get rid of my VIII for one (Not even for a straight trade for a new X off the lot)

However I may pick up a used one down the line to tinker with.

I like them but they just don't have the same thrill factory to me

Now that it looks like they are killing off the Evo X, it suddenly has become more attractive that I get one. I'd like to get the last Evo X rolling off the line. That would be a keeper.

Yes, that's the one aspect about the X that appeals to me is the fact that it will be the last year and the last Evo... I've been told there will be a mark up on them once available but we'll see.

There's a guy here in TN who does the same. Both of his are white. That would be my preference, to have a X as my daily since it has the newer tech and so forth but still very capable of becoming more. I look at it like this: My 8 is like that old gf you still keep in touch with and even though you have a pretty new gf (the X) you just keep going back to the old girl on the side because she just has that little something bad about her that you can't let go of but you still want the pretty new girl too. hahaha

I'm sure I'll end up doing this by the end of the year. Keep my white 8 and pick up a white 10. Maybe even an MR so I can be extra lazy
