I would have that taken out and install the stock ECU and have that tuned. But if you want to leave it in , any "tuner" should be able to figure it out however im not to familiar with that system to begin with.

Not that it would be cheaper, but you would get a better tune. the utec is a piggyback which works by intercepting the signal to your stock ecu therefore tricking it to do things. because of it you will have some weird stumbles during transition from close loop to open loop etc etc. its old technology that i guess worked decent in the days were reflashing our ecu was not an option.

I have the utec also, yes it's simple to use and a tuner shouldn't have a hard time with it. But like turbotekray said stock is ecu is proven to be more reliable and produce better results.
I bought my car with the utec from the prev owner which was installed like 5 years ago, so yeah it's old technology. I'm removing mine soon. You should look into it.
