ACD problem

Just took the car to the dealer today to bleed the ACD since all 3 lights lit up. The mechanic said the ACD is not communicating with the scan tool so he had to do a manual bleed. After I left, all 3 lights went on again. Any idea what could cause this?
I noticed the ACD only acting up in hot and humid weather. When it's raining or cold outside, it works like it supposed to.

Update: Did the paperclip in the OBD trick and got code 82.
I need a used but working pump. PM me if you have one.

ACD is bad, if you're under warranty get that sucker replaced. What you described was the same issue I had and got it replaced under warranty at 55k miles.

it seems to be a reoccuring thing lately. i guess since the ACD equipped cars are collecting mileage the pump is showing itself as a weakness. do a search and you can see how many people are complaining about the same thing.

If anyone needs ACD components, Im replacing mine with a non-ACD. So pump, TC and lines will be for sale.

So I just went out and turn the car on (not start the car), give it gas and the pump turn on for 10 sec then all 3 lights went on (it didn't do this before).
Is there any way to read the error code beside the scan tool at dealership? They tried to plug it in but it won't communicate (mechanic says they'll have to check the wiring and that could take hrs).

took this from another post

hi i will try to help out, 3 acd lights means there is a fault with the acd or the abs, fault codes are stored in the acd ecu,

get a paper clip and use it to bridge pins 1&4 on your obd
(diagnostics plug) as you sit in the driver seat its in front of your right knee,
when the paper clip is in place turn the key on (dont start the car)
if there are no faults codes the 3 acd lights will flash rapidly.

and if there is fault codes, the 3 lights will flash slower
for example fault code 65

there will be 6 long flashes slight pause followed by 5 short flashes,
simply count the long flashes as 10 6x10
and the short flashes as 1 5x1 = 65

there may be more than one code.

Quote:
here are the acd/abs fault codes

12 power supply open or short circuit

Well you will need a non-ACD transfer case. Those are hard to find. Prob around $800-$1000. The rest its just removal of the pump and lines. Dont have much info about the removal of electric parts like ecu, relays, etc.

Just get a used one for now. Apparently they're rebuildable, one of the local guys is going to give it a shot once he swaps his bad one out.

Oh, and welcome to the world of FWD for the time being.

Yeah, I'm on the look out for one right now.
Care to explain more about the FWD thing? When the ACD malfuntion, the rear wheels doesn't get power???

And the most important question is: Is it ok to keep driving until I replace the pump? Would it damage the TC?

FWD??? What in the hell are you talking about?? ACD has nothing to do with the torque split between front and rear.
